RBC Heritage Fuels the Local Lowcountry Economy

Each spring, Hilton Head Island comes alive during the RBC Heritage, and it remains one of the most impactful weeks of the year for our area.

April 13 – 19, 2026

We look forward to this time of year not just for the energy it brings, but for what it creates across the island. It is always great to see so many of our clients involved. Some are participating as advertisers, connecting with the thousands of visitors who travel to Hilton Head for the tournament. Others are stepping in as volunteers, helping support the charitable efforts tied to the event.

The RBC Heritage is far more than a golf tournament. It is a major economic driver for Hilton Head and the entire Lowcountry, generating more than $130 million in impact each year. Local businesses across hospitality, retail, dining, and services see a surge in activity, with momentum that often continues well beyond tournament week. At the same time, millions of dollars are raised annually for local charities, supporting organizations that serve people across our region.

“Events like the RBC Heritage show what makes this area stand out. It is not just the exposure or the visitors, it is the people behind it all. Seeing our clients step up as advertisers and volunteers says a lot about the kind of businesses we get to work with,” says Mike Tucker, owner of Tucker Marketing Group.

From packed restaurants to fully booked hotels, the effects of this week extend far beyond the final round. We are proud to work alongside businesses that are part of it and to be based in a place that continues to show up, support one another, and grow year after year.
